Baths Makes Everyone Feel Better!

Well our luck ran out today. Sara got her very first ear infection. She has a secondary ear infection in her right ear. Sadly that is not it, she also has Bronchiolitis. The poor girl looks so beat up, her eyes are all red from the cough, sneezing and runny nose. I am glad we got to go to the doctor today instead of waiting till Monday because it would have been worse. She is taking medication for her ear infection but sadly we cant give her anything for her cough.
The best way to make her feel better was to give her a bath in a very steamy bathroom. She felt so much better. We turned on the humidifier so she can breath better during the night. Hope she feels better fast!

And the best medicine of all is lots of hugs and kisses for my princess!

First Day of Nursery

We are so excited to say that Sara went to nursery for the very first time last Sunday. Unfortunately it didn't turn out as good as we thought. The nursery room is across from the RS room and before Sara would run in there and wouldn't want to leave. So it was surprising that she didn't want to stay in there and play this time. Well she did stay in there but only because Dad was there with her:) I think she was tired and just didn't want to stay in there by herself. I hope next time she will do better:)

Sleepy Sara

I was feeding Sara lunch today and while she was eating I was doing the dishes. Then I relized that it was really quite. I look over and Sara is bobbing her head falling asleep. She was so cute!

Speaking of sleepy Sara, she has not been sleeping very good. She has been sleeping with us for I don't know how long. She used to go to bed without any problems. I don't know what happened or when she has changed to not liking her bed.
Yesterday we decided we had it! NO more, we cant sleep with her. She always likes to sleep in the middle and sideways, so she is pushing us off the bed and we don't get any sleep. So after thinking about it we converted her bed into a toddler bed. I was really not ready for that, but anything will change my mind so that we can sleep better. I put her to bed and she cried, but only 15 min. I had to crawl out of her room so she wouldn't hear me walk out.
Then at 12:30 a.m. she woke up and got out of bed but didn't leave her room. I came in and put her back in and just padded her back. She didn't like it so I layed down with her (in her crib) and then sneaked out again 15 min later. Well it payed off because she slept in the crib all night! She woke up at 8 and was happy as a clam. I'm crossing my fingers that it will happen again tonight. But I am determined she will sleep in her crib from now on!
