Sara Hit Another Milestone!

Sara took her first step today! She took two steps and then fell down, and then she did it again a little bit later. I called Chris right away and told him, he was sad he wasn't there. I tried to do it with her again when he got home but she just wouldn't do it. This is just the beginning and then she is going to walk! I can barely keep up with her now and once she is walking I will have my hands full! We will try to get it on video and put in on our blog. Lets hope Sara will cooperate with us:) Sara is 11 months and 6 days old!

Our Little Monkey is 11 Months Old!

Our monkey seems to be into everything these days. She is becoming more independent. She stands on her own, climbs, and loves to explore. One of her favorite places is the bathroom.

She pulled the stroller out and climbed in.

Sara put the guitar down flat on the floor so she could stand up on it and get the phone.

She also climbed on to the dishwasher.

Wedding in Modesto

At the end of May we went up to Modesto for a wedding. We saw Mike and Colleen (Chris's twin sister) and their cute daughter Olivia. Sara and Olivia loved to play together. Olivia is only 4 months younger but you cant tell by her size, she is almost as big as Sara.

Sara went swimming for the very first time and she had a blast. She was laughing the whole time. It was so much fun to see her enjoy the water.

Looks like Olivia is going to take a bite out of Sara Nope, just gave her a big kiss! Sara playing pick a boo Sara started to make this funny face recently. Its her new smile face. All the partying made them tired.

On the way home Sara was tired of all the driving so we had to stop and feed her. Instead of eating she decided she wanted to play with dad. She wasn't happy when we put her back in the car seat. When we got home she slept thru the whole night! It was a fun weekend, great food, good people to visit with and it was icing on the cake when Sara let us sleep all night. We already miss Olivia and wish they lived closer so we could play more often.

Our little baby is growing up

Sara is now 10 1/2 months old. She has grown so much! Soon we will have to plan her 1st birthday party! She started to crawl 2 months ago (April 2). Right away she started to pull her self up and walk against furniture. We bought her a toy that she loves to play with and it helps her walk.

Now that she is mobile we have had to watch her like a hawk. In the first couple of days that she was crawling this is what I had pulled out of her mouth:

Sara is a great helper to Mommy. She takes the laundry out of the basket (and loves to chew on her clothes) She helps clean out the kitchen cabinets.

Она любит помогать маме. Она помогает разбирать вещи из корзины и она любит все убирать из шкафов.

Another milestone that Sara has achieved is that she had two bottom teeth. We have been waiting for them seems like forever! We got our first left bottom tooth on April 28 and the second one came out the next day.
