Sara loves her Daddy and Camping

Conversation with Sara:
What's wrong?
S: I'm just sad
Me: Are you sad about Bucky? (She is watching Jake)
S: no I'm sad about daddy.
Me: why?
S: I just want to give him a hug!

Chris has been dying to go camping. Finally we had a weekend open so we took the opportunity and went. Lets just say we didn't go very far it was only 45 min away from home, but being 8 months pregnant I am not willing to go very far. We had a great time. Sara loved playing in the dirt. Nothing better than sitting by the fire!

Chris chopping some wood to get our fire going.
Lets just say I am not a fan of camping but with this wonderful camper that we own (thanks to Chris's Uncle and Aunt) I love camping! Waking up during the night to go to the bathroom when pregnant would get old if you had to leave this wonderful and warm camper that has a bathroom:)
Sara enjoying some time to herself. Reading some books
It was perfect!

Happy Halloween

Ready to go to the Trunk-or-Treat
After we came home to give out candy. I think she liked this more than getting candy. She was so dang cute! She told everyone Happy Halloween and kept singing "trick or treat smell my feat."
I just love this girl and how sweet she is!

Halloween crafts

We had a lot of fun decorating our house for Halloween this year. I did not want to spend money on more decorations so we made a lot of them. Sara was a great helper! Here she is after we hang our ghosts, bats and lights.

I made these Ghost from tulle that I had left over making my sisters veil. I stuffed them with batting that I already had. The bats we cut out from felt. I also made the wreath on the door. It was super easy and cheap!
I got this idea from Pinterest only made it way smaller and cuter. This was our project for Young Women.
This idea also was from Pinterest. I found a cuter saying after I made this so that will be for next year:)
Made 3D Ghost and 3D bats. It was fun to make with Sara. Next I am excited to decorate for Christmas!!!

First day of Preschool

Well the day has come when my little girl is going to her first day of preschool! Yesterday we went to the open house to meet her teacher and to see her new classroom. Sara was so excited! When we got there she ran up to her teacher and gave her a big hug. She is just such a sweetie. She had a great time and didn't want to leave but with a promise that she will come back tomorrow and stay for a long time seemed a little bit better.
I will have to say that being more of an emotional person I did not cry even though I was really close to it! I am so excited for Sara, she will have a blast at school and learn a lot!
